One firms chooses the capacity first

When reviewing lecture one, slide 24, I see that that q2 capacity is being considered first?
Why not considering q1 capacity first? Does the order of choosing capacity in the Cournot model make any difference?
Even though both firms face identical demand curve, have the same cost strucutre, is there any advantage for moving first?
